Less than urgent
If you need medical advice or to see a doctor call 111. There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary. If you have an urgent medical problem when the surgery is closed you can also contact SELDOC, the out of hours doctors service on 020 8693 9066. SELDOC is a large professional organisation run by doctors in South East London
- Pharmacists (chemists) can provide advice and treatment for a wide variety of medical problems.
- Many Pharmacists are open longer hours than the Surgery.
- Pharmacists are highly trained professionals that provide advice on a wide range of problems.
- They can be particularly helpful for advice about colds, flu, sore throats, ear ache or coughs.
- They can also advise on regular medication and ways to stop smoking.
- Pharmacies can offer emergency contraception.
- NHS Walk-in centres provide advice and treatment for a range of common illnesses (coughs, colds, infections) and minor injuries (strains, sprains, cuts).
- Many centres are open from early morning to late evening, seven days a week.
- The centres are run by experienced NHS nurses and some have doctors available.
- No appointment is needed.

Emergency Dental Treatment
A GP is not appropriately trained to deal with dental problems. This includes toothaches, abscesses and problems experienced after dental treatment. We cannot provide antibiotics as it is necessary to have a full assessment before prescribing such things.
We would therefore suggest patients register with and attend regularly a dentist who can provide appropriate routine and emergency advice. Dentists offer a 24 hour emergency service. Out of normal surgery hours, this service is only for urgent dental treatment that cannot wait until the next working day to be treated.
For emergency dental treatment outside normal working hours, registered patients should contact their dental surgery. Most surgeries have an answering machine message referring you to out-of-hours information.
Pharmacy
If you or someone you know has a minor ailment, bites or stings, upset stomach or needs medication advice
Pharmacy & Self-Care
Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can offer clinical advice, over the counter medicines and their use, to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns. They can also help you to decide whether you'll need to see a doctor. You don't need an appointment and you won't even be asked to make a purchase. Every pharmacy also has a private consultation area for you to talk about your symptoms in private if you prefer.

Parking
There is no parking available at the surgery.
Disabled Access
The building has been designed for disabled access. There is a disabled access point at the reception desk, disabled toilets and a lift to the first floor. A wheelchair is available for those who require it for their visit. We would ask that you let us know if you need help as your disability may not be a visible one. We would also welcome any suggestions you may have in making your visit to the surgery easier.
